Group Sessions

Children, Couples, & Family Group Therapy Activities

We are: “A Place to Start Healing.”

Baseline Therapeutic Services LLC is a therapeutic program locally owned and operated by Jonathan M. Blackwell-Rodgers Gurst, LCSW.

The program is designed to meet the needs of our community through various forms of expression, connection, socialization, and creativity with both individual and group sessions.

All groups are geared toward positive, healthy, and creative outlets. We enhance lives through building confidence, self-awareness, social support, acceptance, and understanding. Routine, structure, and consistency are reinforced through active play and hands on learning.

Drumming Circles for the Season

Baseline has begun to integrate active drumming, mindfulness, and executive function skill building groups.  Drumming Circles have proven effective in helping individuals with ADHD, ASD, Depression, Emotion Regulation and Trauma express, identify, connect and grow through adversities.  Through the summer we were granted funds to bring this group to a local daycare/preschool program.  We are now sharing this form of expression, calming and self-awareness with grade school youth from Carbon, Northampton, Schuylkill, and Monroe Counties.  Social Skills, Communication, Coping and executive function skills are learned through play, experience and music.
